Terms and Conditions

1.	These Terms and Conditions are between D and B Services (the agency)
 and the Yacht, Captain, Owner or any party acting on their behalf (the client
 and are deemed to be accepted by the client by virtue of an interview, acceptance
 and / or subsequent engagement of a candidate through the agency.
2.	The Agency acts as an agent to introduce suitable crew to his client.
 While the agency endeavours to verify licenses, references and background of the
 candidates prior to introduction, we can not guarantee that all information is
 accurate. The agency does not accept any liability whatsoever for damage, loss,
 claims or expenses incurred by the client.
The final responsibility for accepting the candidate lies with the client.
3.	The client agrees to provide a contract of employment upon engagement.
 The contract should state agreed salary, duties, hours of work, holidays, medical
 and other insurance, bonuses etc.
The client is responsible for obtaining work permits or any requirements required
 by law.
4.	The client will be charged the following fees, payable in Euros, in case
 of employment of a candidate introduced by the agency within seven working days
 or commencement of the candidate, whatever is sooner:
50 % of the first months salary for a permanent position
30% of the first months salary for a temporary position ( up to 6 months).

If the client is not entitled to obtain VAT free services, the placement is subject
 to French VAT (19.6%).
Temporary employment that leads to a permanent position will be subject to the fee
 for a permanent position.
Employment which takes place within six months after the candidate had been introduced
 to the client by the agent will be subject to the appropriate fee.
5.	Any information submitted by the agent to the client is strictly confidential.
 For any employments resulting from handing such information to a third party, the 
client will be billed with the appropriate fee.
6.	The agency offers a two month service guarantee on permanent placement. If the
 candidate leaves the position within two months, a free placement will be offered to 
the client provided that
a.)	The fee as per clause 4 is paid.
b.)	The working conditions agreed prior to commencement have not been
 	changed.
c.)	The client has advised the agency in writing as to the termination of 
      employment.
7.	These Terms and Conditions shall not interfere with law’, if one clause does,
 the other clauses of this agreement remain in force.
